Job description Support Engineer OSSSupport Engineer, trouble Shooter to work in MUME as 1st line System Support in Saudi
in the area of GSM OSS.
RESPONSIBILITY,Emergency Support Handling,Customer Service Request Handling,
Consultation Support,
Disturbance Investigation,
Correction Handling,
Advanced Trouble Shooting,
EDUCATION,
High Availability OSS RC10.2 and RC6.3,
ENIQ 1.4 AND 2.4
OSS Network Optimization
OSS Statistics Handling.
Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent
EXPERIENCE,
Not less than 3 - 4 years experience from Ericsson radio system as OSS system administrator. Mandatory minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a support engineer in an Ericsson Support Office.
KNOWLEDGE,
Basic technical education.
GSM and WCDMA OSS R10.2/6.3
Advanced skills in Solaris System (10) administration and debugging,
Good skills of shell script writing and C++, Java and XML,
Strong skills of X25 and TCP/IP,
Strong skills Veritas File system and Cluster server,
Advanced skills of Sybase and SQL knowledge, GSM/AXE Survey
COMPETENCIES,Good analytical ability,
Advanced problem solving, Good communication skills,
Works well under pressure,
Attention to details,
Fast practical learning,
Fluent in English,
Domestic and international travel required. Must be available for extended trips/visits to customer sites and irregular working hours/night shift.
